Itinerary

Day 1

From Leticia, we begin a 75 km journey to a place where very few travelers arrive: our exclusive Zacambú Rainforest Ecolodge, located between Peru and Brazil. After your welcome and an Amazonian lunch, you venture into the jungle to discover its secrets: giant trees, strangler figs (renacos), and giant water lilies that define this unique ecosystem. As night falls, you will experience one of the most intense moments of the journey: a night exploration through rivers and lagoons, where the Amazon reveals its wildest side with caimans and unforgettable jungle sounds.

Day 2

We explore the confluence between Zacambu Razo Lake and the Javari River, where something truly magical happens: encounters with wild pink and gray river dolphins. Here, you don't just observe them—you can also enjoy a refreshing swim, an authentic, safe, and rare experience found in very few destinations. In the afternoon, feel the excitement of piranha fishing in the dark waters of the flooded forest. We close the day with local stories and legends that connect you to the deep spirit of the jungle.

Day 3

We navigate through the Amazon in traditional canoes surrounded by exotic birds, primates, and the unique sounds of the rainforest. We visit the Tupi community, guardians of ancestral traditions, where you will learn about their way of life and deep connection with the jungle. At sunset, Jatimani Lake offers one of the most unforgettable landscapes of the entire journey. This day is not just about seeing the Amazon—you truly understand it.

Day 4

This is the most exclusive point of the journey. You share time with local communities and then head deep into the rainforest for a real survival experience, sleeping in hammocks with mosquito nets in the middle of nature. A night hike follows in search of anacondas, tarantulas, and other wildlife. This is not for everyone—it is for those who want to truly feel the jungle.

Day 5

Wake up with a traditional infusion as the jungle comes alive around you. Optionally, enjoy a final canoe navigation, perfect for a peaceful farewell. Return to Leticia carrying not just memories, but an experience that transforms the way you see nature.

Which tour should you choose?

The 3-day tour is an essential introduction to the Amazon. It includes hiking, paddling, fishing, wildlife observation, and a complete experience for travelers with limited time.

The 4-day tour offers a deeper exploration. It includes an early outing to a restinga area, a special ecosystem that forms within the flooded forest. This day feels more immersive, with traditional food preparation and direct contact with the rainforest environment.

The 5-day tour adds one night of camping in the rainforest. You travel farther into the jungle, set up camp, share time around the fire, and take a broader night exploration to discover the sounds, wildlife, and mystery of the Amazon after dark.
